The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) awarded prizes to the most active investors and exporters. The ceremonial gala in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Physics of the Warsaw University of Technology gathered many distinguished guests - representatives of the Polish government and economic institutions, but above all, thriving entrepreneurs. The gala started the PAIH EXPO - the 1st Polish Business Support Forum Abroad, which culminates at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw on October 25. PAIH Expo will be an opportunity to summarize over a dozen months of activity of 56 foreign PAIH sales offices.
The last several months are also a breakthrough time for FEERUM - a producer of innovative solutions that allow proper storage of food. During this period, the company undertook to implement a project unprecedented either in Poland or in the whole world. FEERUM, as part of a contract with the National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA), will build five grain silo and storage facility complexes in Tanzania and revitalize the existing warehouses. The total value of the contract is 33.14 million USD.
- Tanzania has enormous potential. We build infrastructure for storage of 190 thousand tons of grain, meanwhile the whole market is millions of tons. By implementing the current contract, we show our best. Our advantage is a comprehensive approach - we carry out all work, from design to production and delivery of equipment, and assembly on site with our own strength. However, without the support of PAIH and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, our activity on the African market would not be possible. Africa has no capital. The issues of project financing are of key importance here. Support is no less important in overcoming administrative procedures, finding a suitable location, reliable partners and suppliers. Cooperation with PAIH experts has allowed us to reduce the risk of our operations in Africa, but also on other FEERUM export markets - says the president of the board, Daniel Janusz.
Foreign sales are currently prevalent in FEERUM revenues. In addition to the Tanzanian project, the company develops cooperation with clients in 12 countries, including in Germany, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and the Baltic States.
