Supporting structure

These are support structures for various types of devices, including transport devices. The portfolio of supporting structures develops together with designing of new, innovative FEERUM products.

The most commonly used FEERUM support structures:

Screwed trestle structure

It is used to support horizontal conveyors and allows them to be operated. It is most often used on silos, but also serves as a overpass. It is run above the ground or over silos on special support pillars or supports.

The construction requires support every 7 m, and with the use of additional ties every 10 m, it has a width of 1.46 m (in the central part 2.15 m) completely screwed from thin cold rolled galvanized metal sheet.

Welded trestle structure

It is used to support horizontal conveyors and allows to operate them. It is run above the ground on special support pillars. Welded construction with a 30 m of maximum span between the support points and the width of 1.5 m with a 60 cm wide passage.

By-pass gallery

Allows you to go over obstacles or operate hard-to-reach devices. It is run above the ground or over silos on special support pillars or supports.

The construction requires support every 7 m, and with the use of additional ties every 10 m, it has a width of 0,69 m completely made with use of screwed thin cold rolled galvanized metal sheet. A walkway, 60 cm wide, covered with a grooved or WEMA type grating, with a backrest up to a height of 1100 mm.

Support tower

The structure supporting the trestle structure or gallery on which horizontal conveyors are located. It is used most often when it is necessary to take the process line further away and in a situation where the distance between the gallery supports over the silos is too large.

The maximum height of the tower - 22 m. For each solution proposed by the FEERUM designer, the tower is individually calculated. The tower at the maximum height is able to carry a weight of 3000 kg.

Tower with triangle base

Support structure, which task is to support belt-bucket elevators. It is placed on 3 load-bearing pillars with a span of 2.3 m in axles at an angle of 120 ° (bucket elevator is set in the middle of the tower).

  • Standard equipment - ladder with handles
  • Non-standard equipment - metalwork

    Tower with a 2.4x2.4 base with a height of 32 m

Support structure, which task is to support belt-bucket elevators. Placed on 4 load-bearing pillars, with a span of 2.4 m in axes at an angle of 90°.

    • The maximum height of the tower is 32 m with 1m height change
    • Standard equipment: ladder with handles, resting platforms
    • Non-standard equipment - metalwork

    Transport bearing truss

Used to support horizontal conveyors. It is run above the ground on special support pillars. Truss length from 3 m (with length change of 3 m), width 0.9 m.

    Process line mount

It is most often used with long process lines that require additional support. The maximum length of the process line - 22 m.

Mount is used only when the process line has support on both sides. Mounting ropes are properly adjusted and tensioned during assembly on the object.

    Grid made loading ramp

It is most often used above the receiving hopper to allow dump truck access and discharging of the loose material into the bucket conveyor. The mesh in the grid allow a free flow of material, they are also a good pre-insulator against thick impurities.

The whole construction is made in such a way that the bulk material falls evenly and has no possibility of settling.

    Supporting structure for spedition silo

  • Steel structure made of hot-rolled and cold-rolled profiles
  • Dimensions in axes for silo constructions with a diameter of 3.8: length 4500, width 4500, height 4000 mm (dimension without height of reinforced concrete supports)
  • Dimensions in the axes for the silo construction with a diameter of 5.7: length 5612, width 5612, height 2400 mm (dimension without the height of reinforced concrete legs)

    Non-standard equipment:

  • Handles for communication

Additional equipment of supporting structures for transporting devices:

  • External ladders
  • Rest platforms
  • Big bag supporting structure
  • Lighting
  • Door
  • Trash containers with reinforcement of the structure
  • Metalwork

    Bucket elevator support

The support is mounted to vertical pillars of silos and is used to hold bucket elevators.

Bucket elevator supports are used for silos with a diameter of 3.8 m to 6.7 m.

The construction is completely screwed from thin cold-bent, galvanized steel sheets.

    Crane

Supporting structure to support horizontal conveyors. The crane is usually used to discharge loose material directly onto the mean of transport. Then it is located under the shelter near the reception area. The moving head of the device can be moved in the axis for the time of receiving the goods.

  • All steel construction, welded
  • Lifting capacity up to Q = 0.8t
  • Working range of the arm up to Rmax = 7.6m
  • Crane rotation: 180°
  • Rotary motion is possible by means of: the cable attached at the end of the crane's arm. Manual / electric movement
  • Overall height: 5,4m

    Roofing for technological pits

The roofing covers technological pits against adverse weather conditions - it prevents the entry of rainwater, snow or wind-generated impurities.

The type of roofing depends on the selected entrance to the technological pit. We distinguish roofings:

  • with the door and resting place on the inside of the pit (access to the ladder from the resting place)
  • with a manhole (directly access to the ladder)

Roofing and side walls are made of flat or trapezoidal sheet metal. We offer individually selected roofing methods for each object.

The places where the fittings or transports pass are secured and connected with a special elastic insulating tape.

    Non-standard equipment:

  • Lighting
  • Door, manhole
