Expansion of the facility in Drwalewice

Nowo wybudowany kompleks o pojemności 8 tys. ton jest poszerzany o kolejne silosy. Łącznie cały obiekt będzie miał 10 tys. ton pojemności. Inwestorem jest gospodarstwo drobiarskie Mariusza Bugaja, jednego z czołowych producentów jaj w Polsce.

A newly built complex with a capacity of 8,000 tonnes are being extended with more silos. In total, the entire facility will have 10,000. tons of capacity. The investor is the poultry farm of Mariusz Bugaja, one of the leading egg producers in Poland.

The construction of the first elements of the team in Drwalewice began in 2016. FEERUM used in the facility: a cleaner with a cleaning capacity for wheat 50t / h, funnel silo with a capacity of 315 tons, a continuous dryer SGG 16 with a dual-fuel burner with a drying capacity for wheat 504 t / day, 4 funnel silos with a total capacity of 2868 tons 6 funnel silos with a total capacity of 1836 tons. From the very beginning, the investment is financed with equity of Mariusz Bugaja, one of the major producers of food eggs in Poland. The drying and storage facility together with the Bugaj fodder plant is a perfect example of the organization of closed production – from grain, through feed, to the final product, i.e. an egg. Currently, the facility is being expanded and recent work related to setting up the complex control system.

– It’s very good now. The program controlling the entire system is very intuitive and you do not need any IT or technical preparation to operate it – emphasizes Mariusz Bugaj, the owner of the farm. In his office, he hung a huge TV on the wall, which acts as a computer screen. As a result, he has an ongoing view of the work of the whole farm, and in particular of the grain drying and storage system. – On a daily basis, the system is operated by one control room worker, but today, until midnight, we accepted grain and slept. That’s why the supervision was taken over by my computer – he informs by clicking with the mouse on the icons on the screen. The huge complex is controlled without leaving the office. – This is a fantastic solution. Recently, my 15-year-old son accepted the seed and he easily dealt with opening the basket and starting the whole process. Each silo is described and it is enough to click where the grain from the given trailer should hit. The system can be managed even from the phone, all you need is the Internet. It’s a huge convenience in managing a large farm like mine, “he adds.

Mariusz Bugaja’s poultry farm was established in 1998 on the basis of a bankrupt PGR. Today it has 450,000 laying hens and is one of the largest egg suppliers in Poland. The farm uses about 50 tons of feed per day. Mariusz Bugaj constantly invests and develops the company, focusing on sustainable development, security and new technologies. He was twice honored by his president for his achievements.

– FEERUM has set a very interesting facility and I am happy with the improvements made after the first launch of the system. I have a drying room with a capacity of 30 tons and I can not always fill it up to activate the drying process. At my request, the FEERUM computer scientists have programmed an additional possibility to withdraw from the silo the necessary amount of grain to the dryer, which allows its inclusion. This is a very practical solution. While designing, we talked a lot and changed some of the original assumptions – he adds.

Designers from FEERUM listen to the clients’ needs, jointly developing the best solutions. – We appreciate partners who set the bar high. When searching for new methods, we improve our products. Such cooperation brings mutual benefits, the client receives a drying and storage complex designed and launched to his individual needs, and we have the opportunity to create better products expected by the growing agro market – emphasizes Piotr Sobkowicz, head of the FEERUM S A. project department.

Currently, the complex in Drwalewice is being expanded. Ultimately, it will reach a capacity of about 10,000. tone. In the last two years, FEERUM has completed over 80 investments with a total tonnage exceeding 200,000. tone.
